Some advice from Amy to athletes for tryouts is: Show how much you love to play. Joy, energy, and enthusiasm are noticeable and contagious. Laziness, pouting, and entitlement are also noticeable and contagious. Choose how you want to be seen and what others might catch from you.
Mike Gamble - FVA Mat-Su Director.
Mike has been coaching volleyball for 6 years, and one of his favorite things about coaching is watching kids achieve their potential, and grow into mentally tough, young adults.

Coach Cameron Livingstone - Skills and Mindset Coach
Cameron has been coaching volleyball for 21 years and he LOVES everything volleyball. Some advice from Cameron to athletes for tryouts is: we want to see players that can show us they're focused on self improvement, have a growth mindset, and are excited to be here!! We are not looking for a "perfect" player.
Coach Brooke Almond - Anchorage club coach
